These are analytics for my blog, http://www.logicaldecay.net, for the last 24 hours. 0% traffic from IE, the "Mozilla Compatible Agent" is iPhones. Hurray for tech people.

Why Ruby?
I was challenged by Scott after Demo Camp to defend the choice of Ruby for web development. At the time beer and karaoke prevented me from answering in any meaningful way, but I took up the challenge tonight. Take a look and share any thoughts you may have at http://www.logicaldecay.net.

Edmonton Demo Camp 6
Awesome event, I highly recommend everyone check out http://www.barcampedmonton.com/ and come to the next one in early May. The demos this time around were great, I particularly liked the http://you-vs-me.com. While I think the guy running that site is a little lost as far as the direction he could move with it, I think he had some great ideas that might eventually find their way into Nexopia battles. Also of note: despite a lack of free wifi access democamp attendees managed to get the tag #democampyeg into the #7 spot on Twitter's trend list with their iphones and blackberries. It was very entertaining reading the running commentary of the event as it took place. I cast my vote in favour of ensuring open wifi access to the next democamp.
