Well actually more like 1997 or before that, when I was a KID. Being a kid RULED. They should rename Nexopia as Nostalgia and have everyone just talk about how good life used to be. Sure, we have 24 on TV now, but still... BEEP. BOOP. BEEP. BOOP. BEEP.
BUT SERIOUSLY GUYS remember back in the day when we were all jumping from furniture to furniture because the ground was LAVA MY GOD. Or when you had twenty bucks somehow. I could buy like BOTH the toys I wanted, Million Dollar Man AND Mr Perfect! TWENTY BUCKS! I could have rented like eight NES games. My riches knew no bounds! Now twenty bucks is gone in twenty seconds along with another 80 bucks when you put it all down on red in roullete. But maybe that's just MY problem.
I remember the anticipation of summer break, because it was like three months with literally NO obligations or responsibilities. If you didn't come home with your knees all green and a runny nose, then you had a problem. I like to remember the time that Ninja Turtles was the biggest thing in the world. It was their world, and we were just living in it. Thank christ they're still kicking though. I like to remember when LEGO and Nerf was the only reason to live. I like to remember when... MCDONALDS HAD PIZZA.
