Second one that comes to mind would be when me, kruger, ari, joyce and her friend were driving to drop ari and his girls off and we were randomly pulled over by a cop, just not taking kindly to a van full of teenagers. A true story.

Scarf Tale#1
The Chase
May 1998

It was another day at the Afterschool program. I had grown tired of that place. Constantly bullied by the bigger kids that went there, it was nothing like my grade 1 class that respected me. Day after day that year, some blows or slurs of trash talk were administered by these chunky and whiny older boys. And keep in mind I remember all of their names, but lets be fair and not name any of them, I think you'd be surprised who some of them were. Anyways, it was another afternoon of the "coordinator" or whatever the fuck she was sitting on her ass eating bon-bons as usual. And the shorter of the idiots took away my cookie. I liked cookies, and that fat ass supervisor only gave out two. This was not the first time this had happened to me. I decided something had to be done. I punched the kid in the face. He was older, he was stronger...I didn't care. I had a right to defend my cookie.

His friends, in shock, took a step back or two, and him, he began to cry?
Yes, cry.
Well that was right about the time I dropped the cookie and now cared more about getting out of there. The one time something bad happens and it ain't to me, is the one time somethings gonna get done about it. The chunk ass got up and was ready to do some serious talkin', but the talkin' was to the kid who took away my cookie! She told him serves him right, and then told me to go sit in a corner. It didn't go unpunished, but atleast she realized I had a cause. I grew more respect for her...

But that wasn't the end of the line....

The Next Day

Well you mighta guessed that it wasn't all. Right around Lunch i had heard rumors about this third grader wanting to 'take me out back' and "show me a thing or two." Now keep in mind back then i wasn't the big bulky machine I am today. I was a little boy...and I didn't have a helluva lot of confidence either, which makes the person then much different from the person now. Anyways, I tried to avoid contact with this kid the whole day, and it looked like I was scot free as I left the school at 3:30, slowly walking out the doors...but then...on the basketball court, i caught a glimpse...

Shorty

Yes, the short tough kid.

I bolted down that long stretch of playground property. The 9 year old chased me in hot pursuit, my little 7 year old legs running as fast as they could. Over the chains and through the parking drive in of the front of the school. The kid went through these obstacles as well. I went around the drive in and was now running down the sidewalk along the fence. I was lucky enough not to have after school program today. I had a destination. I was a pretty fast runner back then thankfully. The kid was maybe not as fast, but he had plenty of stamina and stayed closely behind me. I was losing stamina quick...past the street light, past the end of the fence...into the Yk1 parking lot. He continued, all that mattered to him was getting revenge. I tripped, he nearly caught up, I got up, I went up those stairs...I opened those heavy doors. He bolted up those stairs, I got through the 2nd set of heavy doors. I fall onto the floor again and back up against the wall of the YK1 Board Office. He vigorously opens up the 2nd set...and stops dead in his tracks as my mom's secretary looks him dead in the eyes....

"What are you doing here?"

The kid looked in confusion and awkwardness.

"Explain yourself!"

Quickly as he came, and as abruptly, atleast to the secretary, the kid looked at me and bolted back through the doors again and went off down the street. I panted a bit, and got myself up. brushing myself off of the sand and rocks that had gotten into my pants and shirt during the run. The secretary looked at me.

"I think we should talk to that boy"

I waved her off and told her it wasn't a problem and that it had been dealt with as I put my back pack on once agian and went down the hallway of the building and swung a left into my mom's office, not speaking a word of this.

The next day at school, it was if nothing happened. Perhaps he feared to do anything now that he knew I had allies right beside the school. Although obviously not that big of a threat, a third grader isn't going to really look into this. So i was left alone for the remainder of that school year. I had ended what he started.

Vice Presidency

And if elected to Vice President...

May 29th, 2007

I attended the meeting for those interested in running for Student Council.

It would appear that I have competition in this race for Vice Presidency, if my application is to be accepted pending review.

Jon Soderberg, Mark Siemens and Walker Redshaw are all interested in the Vice Presidency like myself.

It should be a good race if all four of us go through with it, I am interested in the result.

I have gathered 10 students' approval and signatures of me assuming office as Vice President.

1. Shawna Bassett
2. Heidi Hoefer
3. Don Campbell
4. Sam Anderson
5. Jess Amora
6. Zac Potts
7. David MacDonald
8. Liam Coedy
9. Naya Henderson
10. Lyndon Duong

I have also acquired 3 Teachers' approval and signatures.

1. Ms. Nielson
2. Mr. Lacey
3. Ms. Sproule

I will be in grade 11 next year, I believe I am well respected by my peers.
Unfortuanatly due to outside reasons such as my grandfather's funeral I have not been able to excel my grades and work to their full potential. However before these events I was scoring a high average. I promise to try and uphold a high average for next year just like grade 9 and the beginning of grade 10. I am an excellent Public speaker and I do all in my power to bring prestige and respect to our school's name. I am passionate about politics and think this would be a good experience. I am not going to waste time, I want to make a difference.

Capitol Theatre Tenure
June 21st, 2005 - June 1st, 2007

It was a wild ride, but its time to move on.

I seem to have myself a job at Mark's Work Wearhouse for 10$/hr starting on June 2nd.

I am so excited, and thank Bree for putting in her good word.

I look forward to this job, and look back with a thumbs up at my old job.

Change is good.

I am interested...
I am interested in running for Vice President for the 2007-2008 School Year.

I like politics and leadership, and believe it would be a good experience.

I figure hey, maybe I should throw my hat into the ring.

Maybe I shall, maybe I shall.

Vice Presidential Candidate Adam Scarf....I like the sound of that.

Should I do it? I debate.
