The Edmonton Grads are known far and wide for their athletic accomplishments. With having 502 wins under their belt, along with only 20 losses, the Edmonton Grads will never be forgotten. While dominating in their sport in North America, the Grads also took on the best teams in Europe, ultimately defeating challengers in Paris, London, Amsterdam and Berlin. The Grads dominated four consecutive Olympic Games from 1924 to 1936, winning all 27 Olympic matches they played. The catch? Every opponent they had, was male. This achievement was unrecognized on the medal podium as women's basketball did not become an official Olympic sport until the 1976 summer games in Montreal. It has been said that the team of 1914 ended simply because of boredom. Honestly, after playing 522 games and dominating more then 94% of them, I would be bored of kicking every male team in north america's ass too.
