Andrea Gibson performs, "I Do" live at GirlFest, Hawaii
Watch, this will blow your mind.
I told you a secret for you to keep
I painted a picture for you to see
I told a story for you to enjoy
I gave you a gift for you to share
You shared my secret
And burned my picture
You ignored my story
And Hid my gift
I gave you my soul to bring us close
I opened up to earn your trust
I shared my feelings to create a bond
I gave you my all to discover the truth
The truth was you broke my soul
Lost all my trust
shattered the bond
Of the truth I thought
You said we were friends
Until the end
Then you lied
You were a waste of my time.
Go Away! Go Away!
Leave me Be!
Things will never be
What they use to seem
I gave you my heart for you to keep
I wrote a song for you to hear
I gave you comfort to cheer you up
I wrote a story for you to read.
You shared my soul
Turned a deaf ear to my song
You pushed me away
And crumpled my story for your sick joy.
I opened up
Just to get hurt
I showed my true colours
Just to get them mixed
You are no friend of mine
My time is done
As is my life with you
I told you a secret you didn't keep.
An original poem by Mr.Pickleton
