Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix

This movie falls into the same trap that other Novel based movies fall into - You give up way too much content and make too many shortcuts to make the movie under three hours long. There are lots of twists and interesting plot devices that make the book wonderful that just failed to make it off the editing room floor.

I won't go into a lot of details, as the movie is still worth seeing, but these movies are always more enjoyable to those who don't love the source material, and know it backwards. If you've read the books, go into the movie expecting to be a little disappointed. It touches on so many major things, but it doesn't go into them more fully.

I plan on seeing all of the movies, just to see the end of the series in person, but read the book, especially if you like the movies, the books are SOOOO much better.
