Buying PLUS with your mobile or land line phone.

We've all been looking for an easier way for everyone to buy PLUS; after all, not everyone has a credit card or online banking that they can use.

So as an alternative, we're thinking it would be pretty handy to let you order specific amounts of PLUS with your phone. All you'd have to do is simply send a text message with your cell or call a designated number on your land line phone, and your PLUS would just get charged to your regular monthly phone bill. It doesn't get any easier.

	10:24am \| Feb 16, '09 Fazart Just to let you know, that is usually how it works. You can use pay as you go, as well as bill. As long as the money is on your phone (or can be taken) I guess it depends on what company you go with too then.

	09:28pm \| Feb 13, '09 Khiash It wouldn't exactly be good if it were a monthly charge fee. Perhaps a one-time fee, one-call for x months to be charged to your phone bill. For security measures (i.e. using someone elses phone to call) perhaps a random call back within 24 hours to confirm the payment.

There is a known issue where people using Telus haven't been receiving their text replies, but I'm afraid that's purely on Telus' end and there's not much we can do about it. If you're not using Telus, please report your bug in the above thread.

We added the option to purchase PLUS via phone line because many people don't have credit cards or online banking accounts they can use. Almost everyone has a phone though. It makes it easier for everyone to buy PLUS.

If you're having problems purchasing PLUS on your phone, please go to this thread, outline the problem you're having, and someone will try to help you.
