A moderator is an elite volunteer who we pick from the community to help us oversee Nexopia.

In return for their help, our top mods receive Plus and other cool perks for their efforts!

There are several different types of moderators:

• PICTURE MODERATORS
  A team of 700-800 picture moderators review every profile picture that gets uploaded to the site.

...The very best picture moderators are hand picked to become:

• QUESTIONABLE PIC MODERATOR
  Questionable pic moderators are experts on our picture rules and deal with the pictures that are hard to tell whether a picture is acceptable or not.
  
  
• SIGN PIC MODERATOR
  Sign picture moderators approve/deny the sign pictures that give the verified user tag on your profile.

...If you've been a picture moderator for some time now and have really put forth a good effort, talk to foxpilot about the possibility of moving up.

• FORUM MODERATORS
  Nexopia forums are the third largest in the world. Our most active users usually get selected as forum moderators for being experts in the subject of their forum and being well behaved on the site. They issue bans, explain rules and help keep the forums a comfortable place to talk and hang out.
  
  
• GLOBAL MODERATORS
  This is the highest level of moderating. Our Global Mods have forum powers across the site, and most are or have been very strong picture moderators. They often act as "eyes and ears" for Nexopia staff and are usually very knowledgeable about the site.

• Are you at least 16 years old?
  
• Have you had your current account for 6 months or more?
  
• Been well behaved on the site?
