Click Plus on the menu and then click Credit Card.
Make sure to have authorization from the card holder. If you are using your parent's credit card without their explicit permission it is considered fraud, just like stealing from a store.
You have to fill in all the billing information, our provider verifies this information.
If your card is a SoloMobile card you can type 'SoloMobile' into your street address. Make sure to fill in the remaining information correctly.
Do NOT USE the INTERAC online link to pay by credit card. It is an old link and we do not accept payments placed through that link, we refund these payments and ask you to pay again.
(We are working on removing it.)
The program won't go past the Credit Card button
It is possible that there is a temporary glitch with the link.
If you have a pop up blocker it may stop the new window from opening.

Mail takes anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks.
Sometimes it gets lost in the mail but not very often.
If you bought a Money Order they want you to wait for 6 weeks before you can request your money back.
We get quite a lot of mail with cash in it
There are three safety issues here:
1. Coins fall out
2. Mail gets stolen
3. Mail gets lost through Canada Post
1. Problems with coins are the easiest to solve: Either send paper money or tape down the coins onto the invoice or place inside a plastic bag. If sending coins make sure that there is enough postage because of the extra weight.
2. When people say that their mail got lost (when money is involved) most of the time it is actually stolen right out of people's mail box. We don't have this problem because we have a locked Post Box. Inside theft (from post office staff) is extremely rare. Hiding the money helps this problem.
3. To prevent loss from Canada Post you have some choices:
a) Send by express mail or similar, it is insured and traceable (but more expensive, around $7 postage)
b) Send a cheque, mark it "For Deposit Only" on the back so no one can cash it.
c) Send a money order. If it has not arrived within 6 weeks you can put in a claim
Less than 1% of mail get lost but it does happen. Unless you sent it with insurance (which costs around $6) the Post office does not take responsibility, and neither do we. We divide up the mail job into 2-3 people to virtually eliminate errors/theft and we cannot take responsibility for mail that does not reach us.
You don't actually give your credit card number to us; you type it in on a secure website, Billing People. Then your payment gets approved by Moneris (a very large credit card service provider which services lots of retailers too),
After this we get an email saying which invoice has been paid. They don't include any other information; no expiry date and not the credit card number. So even if their email was intercepted there is not sufficient information included to use your card fraudulently.
If you were to pay with INTERAC online, the debit service, it would be even safer. It works the same way that you pay your utilities over the Internet. Your information does not even leave your own bank. We send a request to Moneris, who forwards this request to your own bank. You log in as you do with all other online banking.
When you have approved the charges your bank informs Moneris which invoice was paid and Moneris passes that information on. They don't even disclose your debit card number to us, there is no information in that email that could be abused. All they are saying is which invoice has been paid (and we know who created that invoice on our system).
