It's when its so so hard to say goodbye,
And a tear rolls down your cheek when they turn away.
It's how you would do anything just to be around that person,
For just a minute more.
Its how you get shivers when they touch you.
Its how you would take a bullet for them,
Or a punch in the face.
It's how you would push them out of the way,
If you knew they were gunna get hurt.
It's how you protect their heart with yours.
It's how cold you get when they leave,
How they make your heart beat faster and slower,
At the same time.
How lonely you feel when you haven't,
Seen or heard from them for only an hour.
It's how uncompletely lost you feel when you two decide,
To become just "friends"
It's how broken you feel after,
And how much you just wanna cry.
It's the little things that make your heart beat,
