When we made the transition from hunter-gatherer to agriculture, we started to setting rules that would be placed so as for society to work. To protect life, to preserve it, to prolong it eliminated the natural selection that kept our population in check. With prolonging life expectancy and decreased death rate comes a growth in population. A substantial growth in population leads to over-population, which leads to scarcity of resources.

These so called "morals" are bullshit. On a long enough time line the survival rate of everyone fall's to zero (fight club). Big deal. we've become slaves to a system we will fight so strongly to protect, many will disregard my statements as far left wing extremist bull shit. We live our lives totally oblivious to this oh so obvious of conclusions.

As it stands today, people are incredibly self-righteous

their self-righteousness is so strong they will protect these morals with their very life because they believe so strongly that they are right. I say go ahead, they'll die with you.

But *sigh* to live without this socialogical pattern is to die horribly. Watch "into the wild" its all there.

We all consist of the same organic matter.

There are 6 billion people on the planet, all with the insatiable need for shelter, food, water; they all have the right to survive and because of this, all attempts to halt our inevitable consumption of our planet is futile.

So one can live knowing this, one can eliminate vanity because it is false. One can choose to accept that self improvement is masturbation simply because of the sheer pleasure we derive from it. One can choose to hit rock bottom, but to what end. The only way we could save ourselves would be to eliminate over 99.9% of the worlds population without negative repercussions to the environment. Even then, people would regroup, become a society again and repeat itself.

Whats the point. What is the meaning of life. I say there is none. Whats left in our inevitability and unlimited free time is our own prerogative. The point is to keep yourself amused
