Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fight
Why am I trying to see, when there ain't nothing in sight
Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try
Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die

A deep breath and baby steps,
That's how the whole thing starts.
Its a long, slow, beautiful dance
To the beat of a heart.

This has been rolling around in my head for a while, as it seems to be a rather common topic of conversation for me. Somehow the world we live in has become familiarized to the concept of cheating. Cheating on partners, cheating at business, cheating at school. 100, 50 and even 20 years ago any of these things would have been a BIG DEAL. Like, a big enough deal to end a marriage, dissolve a business partnership, get someone kicked out of school, or thrown in jail for extended periods of time. Once cheating would have gotten your hand cut off.

Now, when someone cheats on their significant other, it is “no big deal”. People go on like it never even happened. What happened to people have consciences? It used to be that if you cheated on your girl/guy it would eat at you until you were sick from the guilt. And it is so commonplace! The people who do it say that they shouldn’t be blamed for what they are doing because everyone else does it too. If everyone else jumped off a bridge does that make it a good idea?
