INTRODUCTION

"I would love to excite you're senses."

Picture if you will: The most fantastic beach in the world that stretches on indefinitely. See the view of the palm trees as they dance in the sun above the crystal clear sparkling water. The shore calls to you with the droning sound of the waves crashing onto the beach. You can feel the sand's warmth as you take each step, each one a tiny reflection glistening like precious stones. As you approach the water, the infinite tranquility of the scene hits you all at once and a sense of well being descends over you like nothing you have ever felt before. In this moment you are free, you're spirit is exploding form every direction and you find the part of you'reself that will never be lost again.

I'll have to work on that, the endings a little cheezy.

So a bit about myself.
Personality wise, I might look and sound like one of those macho guys that chews nails and spits out slag from far away, but don't believe it. I'm really just a big goof, no sense in taking anything too seriously, just out for a good time. I beleive in balance as a guiding principal. That seems to be how the rest of the universe works. That's at least a page long discussion right there though. Moving on.
I'm a first year Machinist/parts guy/welder/contract worker at a company where we manufacture and install just about anything made of metal. When i'm not working I like to pass the time by playing some Slide guitar, drinking a few cold ones, taking pictures and videos, doing computer art or any other form of art and most recently motorcycles. I'm currently building a bike for a website that i've been a member of for a while. They are having a competition right now very similar to the television show "Biker Build Off" instead of only ten days to build a complete bike, we have about 3 months. There's pics of my progress in my gallery as well as a few of me, since my front page ones havent been approved yet. When it comes to going out I enjoy things like looking at the vast heavens at night, Sitting on a beach in the middle of summer on a hot day, and generally being outside. I'm looking to meet some new people from around town on here just cause you can never have too many friends. I have noticed most people fill this space with inspiring quotes and glittery pictures, so i'll have to go find some of those, I do believe. In the meantime, if you like what you see and read, drop me a message, i'll get back to you.

My friend wrote this under his dislikes on his page, i found it to ring true:

what don't i like...i don't like the stereotypical asshole guys because they give decent guys a bad name. on the other hand, i don't like when girls go around saying all men are jerks, pigs, pricks, whatever. i mean really, that's like me saying all women are bad drivers. it's entirely untrue, just like the idea that all men are jerks. not to say that there are no jerks, but there are also bad female drivers. i guess what i'm getting at is that there's also bad male drivers, and also completely bitchy chicks. we, as a society, are more equal than we sometimes like to think.

THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THE INTERNET

A great community of likeminded individuals and possibly the best site on the internets
http://www.thechopperunderground.com

You can always find something interesting to watch on here. Including me.
A few of my favorites:
Jim Carrey acting like every Karate instructor
Bob Log III: a crazy musician.
Squidbillies. One of the better adult oriented cartoons
Michael Jackson at the superbowl 1993
And of course me and Lee(roadkill~ak~47) Breathing fire.

more to come.

CURRENT EVENTS

Birthday was a great sucess, thanks to everyone who came out, you are true friends.

Coming up next is a performace for STM coffee house by your's truely on the slide guitar. Dates will be posted when confirmed. For those unfamiliar with how coffee house works, it features half decent performers who are mostly university students or young professionals who don't do music as a full time gig and just want to get out onto the music scene. Definitely worth checking out, plus there's baked goods and punch for the taking.

It's very important to get you're VD check every year. This year i found it's a lot more fun if you go with a group of people. I even had one friend from edmonton who was coming in and brought all her friends. So i got the results and sure enough, i tested positive for being single on valentines day. This hasn't happened for the past 3 years, and i was a little confused about what to do. But with the support of my good friends and family i was able to get through it. Now I'm a better person. Plus today all the valentines day chocolate is 50% off, sweet(in many ways)! So next year, i have decided if I am in a relationship to suggest we celebrate valentines day the day after. For two reasons. 1. we can get twice as much stuff for one another 2. Because we're so special we have our own PERSONAL day for valentines day. Well back to the half eaten box of chocolates that's been exciting my senses. It's right here next to the half used box of tissue paper.
