I find it really funny how people write big, long self-centered paragraph's on their page proclaiming they are different or in some way not like the rest of us. They feel they are in some way unique because they took the time to tell you how much they like green tea or that they think being cruel to animals is wrong. I think people need to stop putting their own ideas and beliefs on some kind of unattainable pedestal and come to the sad realization that they are NOT in fact different from the rest of us. Just because you are articulate and can write a well-structured sentence doesn't mean jack shit. We all are flawed clones, whether you like to admit it or not. We all have weaknesses and we all have human urges. Just like everyone else, you have issues in your life that stress you out and shape you into who you are. If everyone took the time to write a play-by-play, well thought out paragraph as to what makes them so different, then where would you be? You would have to find some other way to let the world know that you are special and that everyone should admire you and your completely different lifestyle. You're not so unique and you are not so different. You are just another ant in a colony of people that don't appreciate you so, in turn, you write about all the things that make you an individual hoping that someone will read it and think that much more of you. Another thing that really gets my goat is when people go on and on about love and how much they are in love. You don't know love. Just because you hooked up with some random prick and then dated 'em doesn't mean it's love. Just because you have millions of pictures of you kissing them doesn't mean that it's love. Chances are you're anywhere from the ages of 15-18, meaning you don't know what the fuck love is or have any clue as to what it is your talking about. The relationship you are in now will probably be forgotten while the real world hits you and you struggle to pay bills and actually try to manage a family. It's just really annoying to see everyone so "in love" and then mere days or months later flip the switch and go into a rant about how much "they have been hurt in the past" and how they don't want to ever feel that pain again? Pain? You pampered kids wouldn't know pain if it fist-fucked you into next weekend. Also stop adding the whole "I don't care what you think, I am who I am" bullshit. Who are all these people that are telling you that they do care? The only person who cares less about the shit that's going in your life than you is everybody else. I'm really excited for the day when life comes at you hard and you realize that you whined and bitched about shit that has nothing to do with the future. C'mon people. It's high school. Anything that is going on right now, at this point in time doesn't mean shit. So do something that will matter. Actually talk to your parents for more than five seconds. Have conversations with them and actually get to know them. Try fighting for a cause that isn't completely miniscule. Sit down and make a list of things that you can do that will benefit you in the future. The sad thing is, is that all these people stuck worrying about all this teenage bullshit are going to grow up and realize they wasted their life on the computer trying to actually make people think they lived a fantastic life when they could have been out living a great life instead of making a giant, digital facade. Maybe I'm beyond jaded, but I hate the fact that I'm hating people more and more each day.
Believe it or not, I'm not as big of an asshole as the giant rant on my page makes me out to be. I'm actually very polite, well mannered and nice. The name's Kat Sheehan. It's....well, different to say the least. I'm a very simple person. Not simple in the sense that I'm stupid, simple as in it doesn't take much to keep me happy and content. My nexopia page is very eclectic and is jumbled with a bunch of different things I like. It's pretty much who I am (Despite the fact that maaaaaaybe most of what is on my page is "stoner" related" it's not the only thing about me, it's just one of my favourite hobbies). I play the drums and I'm really trying to get into a local band, so far I'm liking the band that I have found myself in. I just recently moved to Kamloops and I am finding it extremely hard to meet people! Haha. I mean, I met a few really quality people so far but the fact that I'm done school makes it pretty hard to meet people my own age. Well I think that covers about as much as I'm willing to share so don't be afraid to message me (You more than likely read my blurb and thought I was a prick, but don't let that little entry intimidate you, contrary to popular belief I am really nice!
