1. People think it is normal to have three hockey arenas and a curling rink on one street.
2. When asked to name the mayor people draw a blank, but then can easily name the starting line up of the Kootenay Ice.(Thats only the people that have no lifeand watch the ice)
3. You find your self shocked when you drive down a street without having to dodge a pothole.
4. You have read in more than one publication that Cranbrook is the ugliest city in Canada and you agree.
5. You signed a petition to get Wal-Mart to come so there would be at least one place you could actually shop.
6. You go to Denny's because it is the only place open past 11:00pm that isn't full of drunks (oh wait....)
7. You either hunt, camp, ski or snowboard, bmx or skateboard, drink or do all four.
8. Variety is choosing between 7-11 on Cranbrook St or the one on 2nd St N.
9. The "bad" part of town is the 2 blocks west of save on foods.
10. It is normal to spend a Saturday night listening to the police scanner to see how many people you know got stopped.
11. Your family takes a trip to Kimberly for the annual accordion fest every year so you can play.
12. The "cool" thing to do in high school is to drive up and down the strip. You've all have been guilty of that.
13. You know where to find the police on a Friday or Saturday night, (Tim Horton's) but thats given. But that could all so be any night, and its 12:30 there all there, I found that out!
14. When asked where you are from you hesitate before saying Cranbrook even though you would be surprised if anyone knew where it is.
