I really hate it how our modern society seems so focused on superficial aspects. Our media assaults us with photoshoped images of men with sculpted abs, or women with hourglass figures. It's not real, and society doesn't seem to realize that. Little girls are starving themselves so that they can look like barbie. It's wrong. Why is it that we feel as though the only way we will be liked is if we look perfect? And then what? even the people that supposedly look "perfect" get up everyday and feel ugly. As a matter of fact, I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who was totally satisfied with the way they looked. Everyone is concerned. Some people are even cutting themselves open with surgery and sucking out or puffing up parts of themselves just so that they can get a nod of approval from society. S
