    RIPHEATHLEDGER

    tayloranne

life is too short. youth is too limited. there's too much room in heaven, there's too much of a need. old age is nothing but a myth, we've got colagine and botox to help stop wrinkles. bad lungs keep you up, and black lungs keep you in the ground. in the depths of an alleyway, overdosing in a building's stoop. retirement center, ambulance, emergency room, or maybe on the street across from the elementary school. some refer to it as a blinding light, some just a vast darkness. will they be preserved in a memory, or forgotten in a flash? photographs burn too easily and possession lose their personality. one down, how many more to go?

    rip, heath ledger.
you will be missed by many.

"dancing through the night has never been so rock n' roll."

as you get older, you get over things. you get over old flames, old friends, old habits, and old ways. sipping rum out of a water bottle finally grew old. painting your nails black and wearing heavy eyeliner grew out of fashion. you get over people, places, and things. you realize that you don't want to be a rockstar anymore, and settle for something close to home. the parties lose their valour, the hangovers and headaches get too tiring. and your favourite pair of sneakers, torn up and covered in tape, have finally seen the end of their days. you get over old obsessions. you get over old infatuations. you even get over overplayed drama that you used to thrive off of. in time, you'll get over each sentence you speak in spite of someone. everything takes time. the heart takes time to heal. the mind takes time to grow. every
