it's 2 in the morning, and the streets are left deserted. theres no people bustling, and no heavy stream of traffic filled with angry business men or frustrated mothers and parents. the streets are just.....quiet. night blankets the city, while the darkness swallows up the roads, the universe, opening up into a whole new world beyond us. then you hear, the smooth whirring sound of an engine pushed at its limits. its not angry, just smooth and peaceful, but constant, and sometimes deafening and hypnotic. through the darkened glass windows with my hands softly on the wheel, and my foot at its pedals, i look over into the other car following closely along side me and see the partner in my life, smiling back at me, because we both feel it. this is our life. me and my best friend. we're addicted to adrenaline, and this is our ultimate love besides eachother. to us, cars aren't just a heap of metal; to us, every sheet, every nut and every bolt, is an ingenious piece of engineering, created to fit perfectly together to form this thing that can travel at a maximum velocity of over 200 kilometres an hour. to us; its something beautiful. we see life like fucken huge ass roller coaster that without a doubt we can def conquer. we're two people who see our world in a different way with big dreams and big expectations in the engineering world. we're going to build a fucken metal machine, just watch us.
