Rest in Peace
lil Bird
November 15, 1985 - June 10, 2004

What would you do to escape your own hell.
To leave behind the pain you know too well.
You fight in search of a reason to care.
On the inside your alone and no one's aware.
You try so hard to have everything right.
But the things you want are so far from sight.
The things you dream every night.
You begin to wonder how long its been since you started holding it all in.
Store the feelings so dark and painful.
You want yourself to change, to be hopeful.
You long to know what happiness is about, Something you feel you cannot live without.
For what you did, no one can blame its hard enduring the days when they all feel the same.
Unlike me you had someone there.
Someone to whom your feelings you could share.
Because the only thing that I have know is what its like to live without wings.
Yet i do my best to remain strong.
In hoping theres somewhere I belong.
To have somebody that I could hold.
So I never again have to feel cold.
But where the fuck do I start to mend my broken and lonely heart.
Unlike you I wont make the same mistake I will fight to someday end my heartache.
To push on until the very end that will seperate me from you my friend..
