About Me:
I'm unapologetically geeky, what with the Harry Potter obsession and whatnot. I write and read fanfiction, and have long since ceased to be shamed by my hobbies. I'm overly fond of LJ and unknowableroom.org, where I'm an administrator and forum moderator. I work in internet ecommerce doing stuff that would only interest someone else working in internet ecommerce, and maybe some people who do marketing. I get unusually excited by rising SEO rankings, and I admit that's a little bit weird. I occasionally do contract theatre work, wherein I usually get in way over my head and wind up not eating or sleeping for weeks at a time because of the busy. I'm not a very good Rock Band drummer.

Stuff I Like To Do:
General hijinks and tomfoolery, excessive sleeping, an entire lack of cooking, some would say hating the environment but that's only if you like excessive paraphrasing and missing the point, writing, reading, frisbee (of which I've had a serious lack of this summer), trolling the blogsphere, getting lost on wikipedia, eating long elaborate meals while participating in engaging conversation.

Stuff I Don't Like To Do:
Listen to very loud music (unless it's barbershop), let other people drive, run while people are watching, go to clubs or dance, drink.

Likes:
Nerdfighting, people unafraid to be publicly geeky, comfortable silences, serious conversations, arguing, devil's advocate, learning new things, white boards, really good fanfiction, really good pwp fanfiction, checking my LJ friends list, apple, iphones, traveling without booze, and -- surprisingly enough -- getting to know someone the hard way.

Dislikes:
Loud music, subwoofers, debt, having no in-suite laundry, clothes that don't fit right, too-large parties, people who don't like conversation.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, West Wing, Magnificent Seven, Mythbusters, Criminal Minds, CSI, Firefly, Gargoyles, Heroes, Sports Night, Bones.

Fight Club, Love Actually, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Devil Wears Prada, Amelie, The Great Mouse Detective, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Last Unicorn.

Favorite Books:
Harry Potter, anything by Terry Pratchet, anything by Stephen King, Ishmael, Lamb: The Gospel According to Bif Christ's Childhood Pal, The Princess Bride, just about anything I happen to be reading at the moment.
