NIN - Lights in the Sky Tour (2008)

This video doesn't even begin to capture how cool it was to see this concert live, but it does give a glimpse at some of the new technology NIN was using on this tour. This was one of the songs where the band played behind a giant LED mesh screen. The effects don't come across great on video, but it was pretty amazing watching this huge screen of static in front of you open up and close on the musicians.

Nope... I hadn't been following what was going on with that footage much. Just looked at the site today where they had info about it on the front page. Are you talking about the same one this video came from? From what I read, there were multiple groups and individuals doing stuff with the footage, some more professional than others. This video was from the ThisOneIsOnUs YouTube user, which was the one that seemed to be highlighted. I am kind of interested in downloading the whole thing after watching this.
