//Of all the ppl who talk and act and disguise themselves as being genuine, I find that the odds of 1 person actually being who they say they are is 1 in A LOT// Then odds of 1 person being what i think and predict on actually being is 1 in A LOT LESS//

Open the Door

Youre walking to your bed and you cant help but to crawl
Those weapons attached to the sides of your shoulders weigh more than the weight it can hold
Thinking you can just dream right where you are, where nothing can harm you at all
Stranded, staring at your ceiling wall given the gift to grow old.

His world
Is now our heaven, our dream,
Our imaginations reach for understanding for something so simple
Where we look to the sky, and when God doesnt answer us we ask why?
The now unadorned question of life leaves us in a rut of death
Where can our closure be kept?
Step by step we keep walking to our dreams
Weight by weight they keep bringing us to our knees
We can awake as if we had never slept

It is destined for all living things to come to an end
But when the destiny lay in our hands, we continue to ignore our fate
The past becomes stone, in history to be read
Our future is unwritten, a conduit that can be lead
Open the Door and tell me what you see
On the floor of the bedroom with your son lying in a heap?
Maybe the new found grave of your little girls safety
Still among the permanent past, under your bed breaths catastrophe

Funny how we cry for our loved ones, feeling we should have tears to borrow
The whole time blinded,
Realizing theres no need for sorrow
Contentment can be our new displeasure
As long as space is as far as we can measure
Our comfort in this world has been shaken
Friend and family has unexpectedly been taken
Our emotion and passion are nothing short of endless
Yet the continuation of these visible patterns leaves me breathless

Careless attitudes shouldnt drive the minds of the guilty,
Bleeding out from stain free hearts.
Look to the good in life for fact, behind every ideal there contains a reality.
Our honesty and truth can remain intact, the growing character becoming our identity.
Its within ourselves we realize our being, our natural integrity trouncing our hate.
Far beyond what the eyes are seeing, fully unaware of humanitys fate.
Take what wits were given, write our chapters in stone.
Ride not down the road ridden, but make our own alone.
See the choices being made, and clear your mind of doubt.
Think not of your shadows shade, but the sight your eyes set out.
