I am currently attending the University of Manitoba for a BA focusing on psychology and philosophy. I fully intend to earn my MA and PhD in psychology with a focus in base-level cognitive modeling.

I am currently examining the degree to which we rely on very simple but irrelevant cues in categorization tasks. Essentially, I do not think our intelligence involves some overarching system that allows us to perceive the world, but instead we think in small chunks that combine to perform complex tasks. I am writing my thesis with Dr. Randall Jamieson at the University of Manitoba
