Sept. 30, 2006 will be the day that I officially put an end to my high school career at perhaps the best school I've attended, SGCHS. That will be the last time that I see anyone, students or staff, from there at an organized function for a long time, and I know it's going to be mixed emotions for me. Dealing with the fact that I'm going to be a part of the real world now is something that will be at times difficult and at others not so much. Part of me wants to get the hell out and put as much distance between myself and everyone else, but another really doesn't because this is all I've known for the past 3 years.
There were tremendous people as well as staff at that school, and whether or not I got along well with them or not, each and every one of them taught me something. From the ones I was closest to all the way to my worst enemies, they all had something to teach me and I always will believe that.
Some of it was good, other parts were really not so good, but the amount of knowledge and such that I accumulated from all of them over the years that I knew them is something that really stands out. The learning experiences obviously aren't over, I'm going to continue with that for the rest of my life, but a very significant chapter in my life is about to come to an end before I know it. Whether or not I'm ready for that, time will tell, but at this point my answer would be NO.
