The Bounds of Spring
Jack Davis
Spingle, spangle, spakle, and spunk,
lollop and frolick, dance and sing,
scramble fields of love,
how i wonder the scene of the stars,
The sun a fire, a burning man,
grass greens flow, and oceans blue grow,
whip and sing fly freely above,
how i wonder the scene of the stars,
Rapple, napple, crackle, and tung,
oh the fun we shall behold,
we are the beholders not the beheld,
observe the waves of the green,
how i wonder the scene of the stars,
Golden plossums escape the lugg,
burrow oceans and burrow grass,
below behold the lugg,
cold but enriched and loving,
how i wonder the scene of the stars,
On the scramble fields of love,
lollop and frolick, dance and sing,
how i wonder the scene of the stars.
