dear nexopia,
i hate you.
love chad
day one - drive to vancouver
Nothing interesting happened on this day. Yup, nothing at all. Oh well, we took Petey (our dog) to the kennel and Ginger (our cat) to the kitty hotel and Ginger was nervous, he made some pretty weird meows.
day two - fly to L.A. and board ship
So we got to YVR and mom realised she forgot the passports, but dad was able to get us on the plane anyway. On the flight we met James and his two daughters, Chelsea (19) and Sydney (16), they're from West Vancouver and we found out we were going on the same cruise. They're awesome, we had lots of fun with them over the trip. Anyway, we got to the LA port and after more trouble we were still able to board the ship without passports. Yay, we're on board! That night me, dad, James, Chelsea and Syndey celebrated by dancing it up in the Carousel night club.
day three - full day at sea
Dad and I explored the ship today and discovered an awesome pub right below our room called The Red Lion. It's all british styled. Very cool. We then went out and chilled on the pool deck and went swimming. I hung out with Steph (my sis) and Sydney for a bit, then went to have a nap because I was tired from 2 days of travel and a night of party, but couldn't get any sleep so I went out and found Chelsea and we.. ahh I can't remember. Anyway, the day was fun and relaxing. Some people saw whales, but the only ones I saw were on board.
day four - second full day at sea
More relaxing and meeting cool people. We went to some awesome restauraunts and hung out at The Red Lion some more. Aan, one of the two awesome servers at the Red Lion, got me addicted to Stella Artois by telling me I should buy a pint. He gave us free fish and chips too. Mmm Stella is so yummy. Aan is from Indonesia, by the way, and the other server, I can't remember her name, but she was from Romania. Everyone on the ship was from cool places around the world. I think I only saw three americans and maybe four Canadians working on the boat. They all had a flag and the name of the country they are from on their name tag so you could tell.
If reincarnation was real, if I had lived a life before this one, I would have been Ernest Hemingway. A man who sought adventure, romance and expression. A tortured soul who, in my eyes, lived a full life.
