Love at first sight. Something to believe in, but few have ever experienced it. Love can grow in many different ways. It can come from an appreciation of knowing that someone is truly a good person, a very rare quality, it can come from finding that a person makes you feel complexly whole when you're with that person, or it can come from (I believe) meeting someone and just knowing, whether you fear admitting it is a different story.
The rules of true love are this:
When you say "I love you," it doesn't always mean forever, it means right now, at this very second, I know that I love you.
It always sneaks up on you, when you least expect it
You can't help who you love, and unfortunately, you can't help who loves you.
You CAN learn to love someone, and you CAN love someone at first sight.
Love doesn't always mean attraction, or common interest, it means that you can tell someone your deepest, darkest secret, and they will listen, take it in, and they will make it their second deepest darkest secret, because we all have our own.
We're never too young or too old to love, but we are too afraid.
The point of this is to say that whoever or whatever you chose to love, make it true. Live and love each day so that when it all ends, whether it's tomorrow, or when death does you part, you can look back and think, even if I knew the most aching heartache that I feel right now, I would do it again and I wouldn't change a thing. Life is too short, there's no time for regret. I know that some people have a hard time telling someone that they love them, so just remember this; actions really do speak louder than words.
Love is a wonderful thing.
