I just finished a degree in music from the U of A...
I'm planning on producing records for the rest of my life. Aaand I just might succeed at it too
I sing, but only as a hobby; the real money and opportunity is probably on the other side of the console, and I'm too much of a perfectionist with music to ever make a recording of my own stuff and actually be satisfied with it. heh.
Nevertheless, I've done some pretty serious solo singing in my day... And am, of course, a karaoke fiend.
though I do keep intending to form a band. We'll see what happens.
I think I'm kind of in a new chapter in my life... I've finally lightened way up, and it's pretty awesome.

Singing, playing guitar (mostly acoustic), composing and producing.
I scuba dive and snowboard. Seem to have done a lot more scuba lately than snowboard, even though snowboarding wouldn't involve the same travel from here... go figure.
HONESTY AND OPENNESS. I'm a very open, somewhat uninhibited person... I don't like to hide myself from people, and I appreciate it when they don't hide themselves from me. One thing you can count on from me is hearing my true motivations at all times. IF you ask, or even, you know, actually take the time to listen because I'll always just tell you anyway.
Intimacy and freedom. I like to share connections with people, be they mental, emotional, or physical, but I generally don't like being restricted by them. That's not to say I never do, but normally I prefer to be more... hippie, for lack of a better word. If you tread carefully with respect to those around you, this can be a very rewarding way of living.
Intelligence!! There is no one single greater turn-on than brains and wit. Seriously. This is probably better expressed in my dislikes section though.
New City Suburbs, though it seems I never go these days...
SuicideGirls, though it has really gone downhill and I'm not nearly as active on there as I used to be... I would probably move on from it if there was any online community at all as good.
People who don't fall under my dislikes...

SHALLOW people. Don't you have anything better to do than try and find something wrong with everyone's looks or style or whatever? If you're going to point out everything that's wrong with someone, do it about their vapid personality.
Catty women. Don't be so threatened and hostile, can't we all just get along?
Mainstream thinking just for its own sake. Don't be afraid to be original. In fact it's really important.
INABILITY TO THINK CRITICALLY. What you are being told be people or the news media is NOT the whole story, almost ever, so do some independent thought on it, pleeeease. This is what the world needs most.
Anyone who says things like "mah peepz", "holla back", "hit me back aight", "4eva", all that mundane crapt. Or writes all in capitals. Or never uses a period or comma, ever, EVER. Or fills up their profile, which is supposed to be about THEM, with a new text color every line, mundane slogans and banners, and pictures of all sorts of people who aren't them and whom they really shouldn't want to be. I'm all for personalization, but damn, some of you are going to give me epilepsy. Or a brain tumor. lol
People who can't tell the difference between your and you're. this is my one biggest pet peeve. How damn hard is it? heh
