Some people ask
why do they care so much
spend so much time playing a stupid game
i mean its not like it'll take them anywhere right?
just something to pass the time?
that's when you know, they never played
they never waited all week for the 6 am saturday morning practice
or powerskating every wednesday
they didn't grow up with something to keep them going
when the going got rough
never had passion for anything
the way we do for our game
our team
our dream
never knew what it was like to lift up a championship trophy
or bite a gold medal
to shotgun with the boys
or get snowed in away from home
never made those stupid trains on the waterslides
pulled an all nighter in someones room
never knew what it was like
to care about something so much
and know that everyone around you
felt the exact same way..
kinda feel sorry for them,
don;t you?
