REASONS WHY 300 SUCKED A DICK
Did anyone else notice how badly small parts of this copied gladiator and braveheart...
Gladiator: The wheat fields at the end....Braveheart: The ending...with the guy dying and then the two armies on the battlefield and the new leader giving a moving speech about "lets do this for the 300/william wallace" and then they charge and it ends....exactly the same...
I have not read the comic so I don't know if it is just coincidence or if Zack Snyder is cheap like that .
Also, why do most actors in this film feel the need to open their mouths so wide to speak? They look like anime cartoons...the overacting is ridiculous for the most part.
Also, why did the main guy's accent change halfway through? He suddenly develops a Sean Connery-esque accent in the middle of the movie.
Also, at the beginning...the narrator says "he stared into the red eyes" of the wolf...meanwhile the wolf's eyes were yellow...
Also, at the start of the hunchback orgy-like scene..there is some goat-man creature...only on screen for a split second but if someone can explain what the hell that thing is supposed to be I would appreciate it...
Finally, who gave a s**t about the wife? This movie tried for character development but failed miserably..I could not care less about the council
Let me just say in parting that the battle scenes were some of the best I had ever seen and the cinematography was amazing. Most of the movie was beautiful to watch. And the scene with the guy eating the apple was jokes...
But 80% of the dialogue was horrible and 90% of the acting was disturbingly bad...and beautifully-choreographed battle scenes and pretty visuals can not save this film.
Now you 300-lovers may bite my head off...that is all.
