Dancer Facts
1. When standing around waiting for something we must stretch. Be it a calf muscle, a thigh or something else. It’s an instinct-----very true
2. When we have a long strip of open floor we are yearning to do something across it, but are afraid of the looks we might get.--half true i just dance
3. We really would rather be dancing- oh yes
4. Outside of dance we are actually very clumsy and accident prone.-yes pole
5. Outside of the studio we don’t look like dancers either, we slouch, scuff our feet and are completely unbeautiful.- ph yes

11. Dance has a specific smell, non dancers will never understand it.-yeh

13. We can find rhythm in everything, music, hammering, turning signals, walking, everything and anything.-yes but not wit jer jer

15. We stand in variations of first, third and fourth. And occasionally second and fifth.- yes its not a fuckin tee fuck u pagent
16. It’s not uncommon for dancers to scream when watching a video of a really good dancer doing something incredible.-aaaaa travis
17. There’s always someone better than us-unfortunatly yes

20. When you’ve just done something not very hard but get a great applause, try not to laugh.-hmmmm yeh
21.We really hate when someone just joins dance and automatically calls themselves "a dancer".-yesssss
22. Pointe shoes really do suck, they are pure evil, they are straight from hell.-yessss
23. Blisters, raw skin, blood, missing or warped toe nails are all part of the game.- yeh i love it
24. Males should have to wear pointe shoes for at least a week so they may know the pain we must go through- yes

These are the years when we find ourselves and see past all the bullshit we’ve been feeding off of since middle school. These are the years when we lose best friends, lose boy friends and girl friends or lose our virginity to that guy who wrote you the love song. These are the years where those kids who you always joked around with about being gay, actually come out. These are the years of experimentation. We experiment with style, we experiment with drugs, we experiment with sex and we experiment with love. These are the years of broken hearts and lies. Gossip and tears and who made out with who at that party. These are the years of drug overuse and overdose. Where one kid dies and it scares the hell out of the rest of us. It makes us realize that we aren't invincible, that just because we're young we won't die. We're living the "teenage dream" until something goes wrong. These are the years of choice and consequence and “What the fuck am I going to do now? Where do I go from here?” These are the years of screaming that one person’s name into your tear soaked pillow, or trying so hard to get that same persons attention that you sacrifice all of yourself to become someone that will do anyone that looks at you the right way. One of these days during these years one guy will forget to use a condom and knock up some girl while they're both wasted. During these years we’ll change and grow and make stupid mistakes. We’ll regret it and we’ll hate ourselves and we’ll move on. These are the years of having so much fun you forget all of your morals and end up passed out on a guy’s bed with no idea of what you did last night. These are the years of trends and conformity and haircuts we’ll look at years from now and wonder what the heck we were thinking. These are the times of spending mornings trying to pick out that perfect outfit and for him to not give you a second glance.These are the years of locked doors and sleeping until late afternoon. The years of frustrated parents and even more frustrated teens trying to balance school, a job and a break up. These are the years when said breaks ups can break you down and make you wish you were dead, wondering what the hell you did wrong. These are the times of the broken-hearted msn names and the frustrated blog entries. Just remember, when it all comes down to it, he's not worth your time. Many of us won't graduate, thinking guys, girls, drugs or partying is more important. These are the people who, come our 10 year reunion will either be on the street, in jail, working at a fast food joint, or dead. These are the years of trying to convince your parents to let you go to the party, or trying to get enough money to go to that concert so you can scream at the top of your lungs surrounded by every confused teen that is just like you. These are the worst and best years of our lives and remember we’re all in this together.
