Today I watched the sun rise and fall
And with all that time to think,
The only thing I thought about was you.
As I sat on a beach so lonely without you,
Building castles in the sand, I felt the warm summer breeze.
Which seemed to play the sound of your voice through my mind,
Over and over again,
Which made me smile.
I wished upon a wave on a calm sea,
That we could become the people we've wanted to be but together.
There is nothing else I could hope for.
Then to start this summer off with you by my side.
