Hear ye, hear ye! Summer is almost over, and with all ends and such well, you know the rest. And you know what my friends/stalkers? This fall I have a lot of the rest.
I've (surprisingly) been accepted into the CYO, which gets at least two and a half hoorahs from me, as well as the Stampede Showband (hoorah, hoorah, hoorah!) So I guess if you're also in those I'll be seeing you on Tuesdays and Saturdays, in no particular order. I'll also be attending my third, senior and final (hopefully) year at Central Memorial High School. It is a fine school with many bricks, a few windows, and not enough periods in a day to fit all the music classes in. But somehow we manage... I'll probably be in the jazz, symphonic and wind ensemble, so be on the look-out for upcoming concerts and recitals around Christmas and MAY! I only highlighted may because of a very special web-video that you can Google "Pistachio Pudding" to find. Perhaps after its' viewing you could join me in some late night lunging down the valley trail. I'm not sure if the way I spelled lunging has a hard G or a soft G, but I meant the exercise, not the organ.
So anyways, I'll also be applying to some colleges and universities this year. Isn't that exciting? I think at least one of them will accept me, and if not, well there's always the "BK Lounge" (quote - Dane Cook) So until then I'll be essay writing, SATing, and trying to convince my guidance councellor that I would like to branch out a little and apply at more places than just the Royal Mount. I'll probably be a music major.
In my spare and free time I enjoy skiing, finding fantastic rollercoasters, travelling, playing my instrument, wearing clothes, and seeing my friends. Some of my pet peeves involve loud eating, pronouncing especially and espresso with imaginary X's, getting rear-ended (oo-er), dirty minds sans wit and or tact, playing out of tune, and last but not least, slackers.
If you've made it through, I congratulate you for your dedication to nonsense.
Danke schön!
