They stood together in the pouring rain, pretending
to just be friends. but everyone knew they were
so much more, nothing could pry them apart.

Rememberance Day

Many people young and old
went to war so i've been told
They braced themselves
as their guns got filled
They stayed on the field
as their friends got killed
they tryed their best
as they were put to the test
some came back
others hit the sack
of a long, long winters nap.

War and Peace

Screams and guns were all i heard
yet all of a sudden i saw a beautiful bird
it flew high with dignity and grace,
while down below a big disgrace,
People killing for money and power
there was enough dead to build a huge tower
suddenly bells rang out from a town close by
the fighting stopped without a cry

it was christams day and we all just lay
waiting for a sign that it was safe to come out
Amazingly song started to fill the air
the enemy can out with care
we shook their hands and exchanged some gifts
it really gave our spirits a lift

through all that killing, sadness and madness
there was a pittance of peace
we were suddenly civilized, no fighting, no war
just men making friends and celebrating galore!
the next day we were fighting
with more blood and gore
but we had some peace
some time to relax without worry or care.

they had a pittance of peace that's it that's all
so now i say right now this fall
let's take two minutes and remember them all
