Back when a hoe was a hoe
Coke was a coke
And crack's what you were doing
When you were cracking jokes
Back when a screw was a screw
The wind was all that blew
And when you said I'm down with that
Well it meant you had the flu
I miss back when

i believe that everything happends for a reason
people change so that you can learn to let go,
things go wrong so that you appericiate them
when they're right, you believe lies so you
eventually learn to trust no one, but yourself
and sometimes good things fall apart
so better things can fall together <3

"Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of solitaire. It is a grand passion. It seizes a person whole and, once it has done so, he will have to accept that his life will be radically changed." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Here's to show days: early mornings, long days, late nights, truck rides, hotel rooms, learning courses, warmups, sunburns, rope burns, countless hours of practice, taking the fall, bruised egos, determination, shavings/hair/hay stuck in your hair and clothes, thousands of dollars, your show team, your trainer, your partner, the drama, hurrying up and waiting, show clothes, competition, missed classes, expectations, blue ribbons, laying down the perfect trip... and most of all, our sport, RIDING.
(Author: Stacia Sullivan)

Our horses are worth more to us than pretty much anything else on this planet... and we like to show it.
