a front view of the previous guitar body. Its was contructed from 3 pieces of rock maple.

same body, unmasked and in the sanding process.

First project. Jackson style Rhoads V, in primer at Pete's Autobody, who layed down the finish for me.

more detailed view of the previous body. It was made from multiple pieces of laminated rock maple, so its pretty solid, which was a downside also, as it lacks sustain, and body.

The previous body, assembled with a made to order custom Warmoth neck.

This is a special Les Paul, with a chambered body, and a carved back, so because of this, it has no back control cavity plate, which led to the first major difficulty in the installation.

All of the electronics had to be accesed through this small panel, which was a definate challenge.

because of the limited access to the inside of the guitar, i brainstormed the concept of having an external battery supply the EMGs, so i used 1/8" mono jacks to carry the power supply

this is a shot of the battery box wired up and plugged in, the box is just clipped onto the strap.
