1.Have you ever made a bong out of a subway bag?

Sadly I have never made a bong out of a subway bag. But ever since its been brought up I’m almost curious enough to attempt it, I do live about 3 minutes away from a subway and walking distance to about everything a stoner could ask for. The grocery store next to my place sells $20 hookahs and the bubble tea/chinese restaurant place is open till midnight but the guy who owns it hates me because I always go in there high. Pothead paradise though.

2.How old were you when you started smoking weed? What got you into it?

The first time I ever smoked grass was probably when I was 14? I distinctly remember meeting up with this guy Emmett, he was hanging out with his entire hockey team that night. So i walk up to this big group of gorillas standing in a parking lot outside of a McDonald’s and right away once I get up to them and say hi they all are just staring at me. I’m positive they watched me walk up the entire time, I mean who wouldn’t stare at some girl wearing a mini mouse shirt, 10 foot black hair filled with hello kitty bows and a my chemical romance backpack, you know probably judging and seeing if the group has pronounced me worthy enough. Finally the guy who I was meeting up with asked if I wanted to smoke a blunt with the team. Me being a stupid little girl, you know trying to impress the cool kids, acting like I know everything about everything, words just start falling out of my mouth. "Fuk ya guy light dat shit up I’m ready to party." Most likely there was some kind of hand movement, watch any Eminem video and I probably did some of those hand movements. I don’t know if you have ever smoked a blunt before but its almost on another level, I took 3 big puffs in a row, exhaled... no coughed and choked it all out and it was like a punch to the face, it hit me. I was so ripped man. I never felt how I felt before and I thought I did it wrong because suddenly my legs gave in and I ended up laying in that parking lot surrounded by a bunch of dudes probably thinking I inhaled glue before I met up. I had a hard time talking properly and my whole body felt new sensations. It was great, but at one point I was convinced I was going to die. Thank god (or satan?) but somehow they got me to east side Marios, I munched out and after that I was fine.

3.Do you do it purely recreationally, or do you feel that it has a spiritual element to it?

Its so hard to try and explain something when you can’t fully figure out why you do that thing and like it so much. Everything is so contradicting and not simple. All I know is I never felt a spiritual element to smoking pot, but it depends what you mean by spiritual. I’m sure if I were to go on a 17 hour hike in the great forests of india with a bunch of buddhists and pray but smoke a joint before hand I’m almost sure I would feel spiritual but I just feel different in everything I do when I’m high. I’m more intrigued, I want to learn, I want to get to know people, I want to eat crazy foods, I want talk to people, I want to listen to great music, I want to have a heavy deep thought process, I want to laugh at stupid things, I want to trip out and walk around and discover stuff that blows your mind. It’s like doing normal everyday things but doing and feeling it in a different way. That’s how I can kinda explain why I do it. It’s like your so in tune to everything surrounding you. I enjoy people more and I appreciate a lot of things. Shit makes you think you know, I've been thinking about life a lot lately.

4.What are your favorite songs/movies to be high to?

The question really should be name all genres and tell me the best bands/artists from each genre that are good to listen to when your high but it all depends what mood i’m in, right now a tribe called quest and godspeed you black emperor are great. I am always a bigger fan of watching bands live, I would choose seeing a band play in front of me rather that listening to them on a stereo. Calgary has some really amazing stuff its pumping out.
For movies, I would say any disney movie from the 90s, but only because I have an obsession with subliminal messages they stuff in their movies, any harmony korine flick, documentaries are always a good choice... I just don’t want to name off all the ones I like watching baked because i’ll be typing on here for hours.

5.Do you feel that drugs in general have become the party, or do they simply complement the party?

It depends, most of the time I feel it compliments the party quite well but it’s always going to be the "it depends" kind of thing. It depends on what kind of party you’re at, what krew your with and who they are and who’s going to be there and what their opinion of smoking marijuana is. You'll be surprised on how many kids hate it and don’t have a problem telling/preaching to you about how horrible the drug is but it’s always nice to meet the people who do smoke it and will share their joint with you and just have a good time.

6.What do you like better, being drunk or high? Why?

I actually hate drinking. The taste of liquor is incredibly horrible and every time I get drunk I’m either crying for no reason or I’m smashing my head off the floor or off a table/cabinents/walls/other people's heads... well you get the point. Also remembering your night and not wanting to slit your throat the next morning is cool I always like that. If you like drinking just make sure you never drink a big bear, cheap vodka and $10 wine in one night. Tell me how that goes and you'll probably have the same opinion as me. I’m trying this new thing, being sober when I go places, it’s actually a lot more fun than you think. Don’t get me wrong, drinking can be fun but i don’t have it when I drink anymore and I think it’s because I see how some people act when they’re drunk and how other people react and I never want to get to that state and I always hate feeling like a dumbass.

7.What do you like most about being high?

Eating. Food is amazing and I think we should all eat it and really enjoy it more often.

8.What is the craziest thing you've done while high?

The first thing that pops in my head is when me and a couple friends went to go see the meteor shower that the mustache manor planned sometime in the summer. I remember getting really high with my friend and then we met up with everyone. There was about 10 other cars driving and we all drove out to the middle of no where like 2 hours away from Calgary in the middle of the night. We get there and everyone was blowing up air mattresses and once that was done everyone walked to the field, turned the lights off, smoked a couple joints, laid down and looked up. I remember just seeing all these stars and a few meteors, it was like being in one of those dome movie theaters, everywhere you looked there was just a bunch of stars almost surrounding you and the amount of stars there was almost lighting up the sky. I think it was crazy to me because I don’t think a lot of people do something like that. I remember sitting up and looking around seeing all these kids , on air mattresses, in the middle of no where in a dark field just watching space. Me and the people I came with, we left earlier than everyone else because it got really cloudy after awhile and it was like 5AM. So we are driving and driving and driving and it feels like eternity and of course we ended up reached a point where there was 2 roads and we chose the wrong one and ended up getting lost but we just kept driving and then suddenly we hit a dead end and hidden in the trees there’s this sign that reads DEVILS RANCH. shits so sketchy and scary when your high so we peaced as soon as we saw the sign and somehow got back to Calgary. It was an interesting night.

9.Do you believe that weed should be decriminalized, legalized or should it remain illegal?

Legal. It's virtually more harmless then most things and it would make everything easier.... well to people who smoke dope but at the same time it is a drug and drugs are well... drugs. Naturally its going to come with negative outcomes and I do understand why it’s illegal but it helps people more than harms them I think.

10.Do you have a message for opponents of weed?

Either you dig it or you don’t. My opinion wont change and neither will any one else’s. Me and many others like smoking weed and its cool, and if you don’t like it then that’s cool too but I think that everyone should at least try it once because you might really like it. My 1 rule is never smoke weed everyday, it puts a toll on your body and your mind if you do it too much.

None of that ~SWED~ shit, i find that incredibly annoying.
