Avengers Dis-assembled : Wanda Maximoff goes fucking NUTS and uses her reality altering powers to kill Clint Barton (Hawkeye), the avengers break up.

House of M: wanda is still going nuts, charles and eric (magneto) take wanda to the ruins of genosha, it is there that her brother, QuickSilver, tells her to make mutants the dominant species on earth.

all of the world flips on its head and magneto is king of the world. mutants are the big players. Wolverine somehow isn't affected by this, and he suddenly remembers his ENTIRE life
he brings the heros together (none of them remember their former lives in the real world) and they go after wanda
a little bit of stuff goes down, then wanda says ok, NO MORE MUTANTS
the world goes back to normal, but there are only a handful of mutants left in the world

next big story arc happens, Civil War
a mutant named Nitro is using mutant steroids and blows up a fucking school full of kids
this makes the world ask why are there no regulations on the powered folk, then they introduce the super-human registration act
iron man is asked by the president to head this initiative, captain america is against it
the super-hero community is split down the middle
(and super-villain)
shit goes down, people die, its fucking horrible, and then captain america takes the high road and turns himself in
and gets fucking shot in the head.
