Museum National Centre of Arts:
Museum of Arts is situated at 52- Calle Santa Isabel Street and among one of the exclusive museums in Spain where you will find a great display of modern arts. This museum hosts a number of exhibitions throughout the year with great variety of disciplines including sculptures, photography, paintings, videos and films. The opening days of this museum are all days of week except Tuesdays.
Museum Prado:
Museum Prado is situated in the building which was constructed in 18th and it was made by Juan Villanueva. Museum del Prado is among the best art galleries of entire world as it displays the artistic work of many renowned artists including Lorain, Van dere Weyden, Poussin, El Greco, Velazquez, Mengs, Watteau, Ribera, Titian, Botticelli, Titian and many other artists. This museum remains open during whole week other than Mondays.
Museum Thyssen Bornemisza:
This is wonderful museum which contains some extra-ordinary collection of work from different time periods including the Flemish primitive ages and other ages of the medieval times. You will find almost 800 plus pieces of artistic work including tapestries, sculptures, paintings and carvings belonging to primitive ages and modern day life. This museum remains open during the entire week except Mondays.
The Royal Palace:
Palacio Real was once the residential place of the royal families but today this palace is just a monument and is no more used for residential reasons. This palace is well preserved and among the popular tourist palaces in Madrid. Although, you are not allowed to visit the entire building but still you are allowed to visit the important parts and rooms in the palace. The architect, rooms and the garden of the palace are very interesting and worth visiting. This Royal Palace has 2 gardens; one is called Garden Sabatini and the other is known as Jardines Moro garden.
The palace also contains the artistic work by some of the great artists like Rubens, Velazquez, El Greco, Goya, Caravaggio, Juan de Flandes and numbers of other artists.
This palace remains open during entire week except on Sundays and also enjoy the public holidays in location catalogne.
