In the eye of this black hole spinning,
around me the curses and joys
of the so-called gift of life.
A gift, not so much, as a burden.
In the center it can't touch me; it seems
Nor to the left or right one side do I gravitate.
Keeping me still, planted in the deep soil
the roots to all my problems
Growing longer, thicker, heavier
Weighting me down forevermore,
nothing is meant to be forgotten.
White lies, grey truths, black hearts;
to haunt the future, eternity when the end never approaches.
Won't it just take me? Take me with you
to that massive swirling mess.
Anything better than this, you don't hear my cries.
My plea's, I beg.
It's too easy, that would solve it. The answer lies,
lies are the answer.
In that massive swirling mess.
around me the curses and joys
of the so-called gift of life.
A gift, not so much, as a burden.
