I received a very disgusting flyer in my mail box last night. I was so upset by it I decided to write the author my 2 cents.

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL LETTER PLACED IN MY MAILBOX:

Ed Stelmach favours homosexual rights over grassroots democracy
Craig Chandler was a bright, articulate, experienced, fiscal and socially conservative politician. He was the kind of
person who would be effective in advancing real conservatism and family values rooted in Judeau Christian tradition
in Alberta. Our biased liberal media was aware of this and would entertain nothing of the sort, so they started
slandering and smearing Mr. Chandler’s reputation.
The Canadian and Alberta Human Rights Tribunals (Both are homosexual activist kangaroo courts with flimsy
procedural rules and politically correct bias) ruled against a letter written by a Reverend Stephen Boisson and posted
on Mr Chandler’s website. Mr. Chandler’s open support of the Rev Stephen Boisson’s freedom of speech and religion
became fodder for a media campaign to tarnish Mr. Chandler as an “extremist homophobe.” To date none of the
media has done a serious inquiry into any of Mr. Boisson’s irrefutable claims homosexual behaviour leads to high
rates of deadly and debilitating diseases, HIV, hepatitis A & B, syphilis, anal cancer, anal gonorrhoea, anal warts,
etc..... Nor has the media reported on evidence supporting Rev. Boisson’s well substantiated claims embracing
homosexuality leads to increased pederasty and recruitment of children into the homosexual lifestyle. The media and
Alberta government is doing a huge disservice to homosexuals trapped in sexual addiction by not letting them know
the truth: there is no solid scientific evidence a human being made in God’s image is born homosexual. In actual fact
many former homosexuals are set free from their sexual addiction thanks to reparative therapy which is especially
successful when the grace and healing delivered through faith and prayer in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ is allowed to be a part of the counselling.
With the media creating controversy over Mr. Chandler’s landslide victory for the Progressive Conservative nomination
in Calgary-Egmont riding Premier Ed Stelmach had some choices to make. As a professed Catholic Christian he could
have followed the teachings of his church and Holy Scripture. He could have affirmed Rev. Stephen Boisson had a
right to say what he said and his candidate Craig Chandler had a right in our fair democracy to defend Rev. Boisson’s
letter. In actual fact Catholic doctrine and Holy Scripture supports Rev. Boisson’s arguments and Christian political
leaders are responsible to do what they can to promote religious freedom in their sphere of influence.
Sadly Ed Stelmach chose the easy way, the politically correct way, and the wrong way in his dealings with Mr.
Chandler and the militant homosexual agenda. In spite of overwhelming voter support for Mr. Chandler in the Calgary-
Egmont riding Mr. Stelmach personally intervened and rejected Mr. Chandler’s candidacy. In subsequent media
interviews Mr. Stelmach made it clear he supports homosexual rights and will not tolerate “intolerance” (meaning in Mr
Chandler’s case orthodox Christian teaching on homosexuality) in the PC party. Even more troubling for Christians is
the Attorney General for the Stelmach government has intervened in the Human Rights Tribunal case against Rev.
Boisson to insure the censorship of the pastor continues.
On the issue of killing unborn Albertans Premier Stelmach says this " The issue with respect to abortion is a decision
that has been made in the federal court.... we are obligated to deliver the program as per federal law." The truth is Mr.
Stelmach is pandering to pro-abortion media. There is no federal law mandating the Stelmach government pay for the
murder our pre-born children in Alberta. If there was one, as a professing Catholic Mr. Stelmach would be obliged to
stand with the little ones rather than deliver a program of murder. At any rate Mr. Stelmach is misleading Christian
voters by saying Federal law compels him to tax fund the murder of our children. There is no such law compelling a
province to fund abortion in our country. These are grave sins and a dereliction of duty on the part of our Catholic
Premier.
We would urge concerned Christians to contact the social justice department of the Edmonton Catholic Archdiocese
and urge our Archbishop to place Ed Stelmach under Church discipline. The issue of a Catholic Premier allowing the
slaughter of thousands of unborn Albertans courtesy of the tax payer, our Premier’s intervention in the vigorous
persecution and silencing of Rev Boisson, and his intervention to insure a fellow Christian Craig Chandler could not
pursue his vocation as an MLA for Calgary-Egmont is a scandal that could potentially lead Biblically illiterate Catholics
astray. Abortion and homofascism are most serious social justice issues facing Albertans at this time. Pray dear
friends our social justice committee and Archbishop deals with Premier Stelmach firmly according to Matthew 18:15-
18. Indeed nothing less than the welfare of Albertans and the eternal destiny Ed Stelmach’s soul is at stake.

I would sincerely appreciate you keeping your slanderous propaganda out of my mail box. This Ed Stelmach and Anal Warts letter is nothing by unsustainable christian brainwashing. All the "facts" you've presented in your argument in that document are severely biased, nonfactual and unsupported.

Lets start off with you're argument "there is no solid scientific evidence a human being made in God's image is born homosexual." First of all there's no solid scientific evidence humans are made in your God's image at all. It's ridiculous you would even contemplate putting those two drastically different ideas into one letter, yet one sentence. Secondly, I've attended one of these seminars that attempt to "set free" homosexuals. It was nothing but Christianity condemning homosexuals for something that is completely out of their hands. Homosexuals are born homosexuals, it is chemically a part of who they are. Just because your bible doesn't say anything about homosexualism being a real idea it doesn't make it false. There is also no, and I repeat no, recruiting of children into a homosexual lifestyle. I would love to see proof of this occurring.

Secondly, your long, drastic list of diseases caused by homosexual intercourse is absolutely meaningless. Those diseases are rampant in non-homosexual relationships as well. Don't point the blame on someone else because you don't like the idea that heterosexual relationships cause just as many diseases. All you've done is replaced the word vaginal with anal. You don't have anal sex, don't worry about anal worts.

Ed Stelmach did not choose the easy way in dealing with these issues, he did the democratic way. Canada is a Democracy. A state of society characterized by formal equality of rights and privileges. That is the definition term of Democracy. Everyone is equal. Don't forget your bible states that Jesus frequented himself in the company of those shut out of society. So who are you to judge someone else's life? How does the idea that two men want to be legally married affect your life in anyway, shape, or form? It doesn't; it has nothing to do with you. Wouldn't your anti-homosexuality be going against what your bible teaches you anyways? I believe it would.

Your last item of discussion is abortion. There are many circumstances when abortion is the only choice for a mother. If a young woman is raped and becomes pregnant because of the raping; should she not have the choice to abort the fetus? And if 14 year old teens who are experiencing sexuality for the first time become pregnant because they haven't been taught well on safe sex; should they not have the option to abort a fetus before it is even aware it exists? Scientific evidence will show that there is no sign of human intelligence until well into the second tri-mester.

Your stance on these issues and I can only imagine countless others are beyond ridiculous. Your bible does not belong in politics, and you don't have the right to tell free people what to do. Please, by all means, believe in what ever you choose to but do not force it down others throats. Your letter really goes to show how naive Christianity can make people. It is absolutely none of your business that some people are homosexual. It is absolutely none of your business that people will choose to have abortions. Mr. Stelmach's soul is not at stake, yours is.
