To watch a dear one fade away,
is hard to really understand.
Soon she'll be gone from earth,
and I'll not be able to hold her hand.
For the many years she raised me
to respect the rights of others.
Along with truth and honesty,
just as she taught my brothers.
I remember all the life in her
and the fun we shared together.
We used to take long walks to church
through most every kind of weather.
Mother held her head up high
and she always stood erect.
That's because she lived her life
and gave others their respect.
So now when I see her here
all bruised and bent and dying.
It's hard to say I'll let her go,
as it's hard to keep from crying.
But to see her struggle just to breathe,
and her body slowly withering away.
I ask God to take her home,
at night as I lay down and pray.

AMANDA MY LITTLE SISTER: Wow the times weve had. We have had the good and the bad times but weve made it. The death of mom took a toll but we got threw it. You are my little sister and thing will never change. Your my second half i dont know where i would be without you. Your only sixteen but we have the rest of our lives to fix our bridges in between. Dont forget im your big sister and you can come to me with anything. We have our trust issues but you can still come to me. I LOVE YOU.
