"anyone can give up;
it's the easiest thing in the world to do.
but to hold it together;
when everyone else expects you to fall apart.
that's true strength"

My Dad
Alone in the dark,
wanting your love.
Waiting in the park,
for you to show your face.
Your heart is full of hate,
and your filling mine with disgust.
Maybe it was fate,
and it's far to late.
Sitting alone in the bar,
your not coming home tonight are you.
Your just not the man you were says mom,
but who is going to raise me.
All we can do is hope,
that maybe one day.
Maybe one day you will change,
to be a good man.
People have given up on you so you know,
and now I have too.
I know you can change,
but like I said it's far to late.
