As days go by and events in your life unfold, you come to realize things that should have been so simple for you to see to begin with. We all make mistakes, the key is to not make the same ones over and over again.
Sure, I've made mistakes and I'm happy with that because in the process of trying to fix the disasters that have been created I have learned some things that will help me in the future.
I'm trying not to regret the things I do or the way things happen and I must admitt it has been hard; but why regret when you can't change it?
I've grown up. I'm looking to the future, not staying in "high school mode". My dream is quickly approaching and I have worked very hard to get it. I am determined to make it out there and the payoff for my hard work is about to make its appearance.
I've realized that I'm a very strong girl; sure everyone has their weak moments but I have done quite well. I have learned that the only person you can truly depend on is yourself.
I'm letting go of the friends that didn't fit my life and I give thanks to those friends that have stuck around in this soap opera. Lots of love.
