Well after the devastating house fire that claimed the life of our landlord, our condolences to the Jawanda Family, we are forced to start a new chapter in our lives. We lost everything we own. We thank my co-worker who took us in after the fire. It was a good thing we weren't home when it happened. I was working at the bar and Jon was partying. Our dog survived.
On the upside to things, I have a job interview Tuesday to be the new manager at a video store in town, and Jon has an interview to be a bartender at a restaurant that is going to open up next month.
In the era where desktop computers are being left behind and laptops/netbooks, tablets are being embraced.
I remember when (omg I sound old!) desktop computers where dominant and laptop computers where a great way to be mobile and cell phones where the craze for ultimate mobility.
One decade later; laptops are the new desktop computer and looking a lil outdated. Tablets are the new laptops; everyone wants one. And obviously smartphones are now a combined laptops and old cell phones, still all the craze.
Our lives are so connected and access to anything is right here right now.
Can't wait until the generation of technology. What will compare with our technology with what we develop in the next decade? You'll be in my place talking about our tablets and smartphones(will be called genius phones in the future?). Lolz.

I fucking hate Windows OS. A simple reinstall to fix some old problems have created all new problems!
The logical and simple solution to fix these problems are blocked simply because drivers won't update. Tried manually... nope.
According to Windows... all software and drivers are up to date. But shit simply isn't working.
Those fucking Apple ads are right.
It's time I return to a Mac and skip the headache.

So I had this drunk ass come in to the store tonight, and he's bitching about having to pay like 10 bucks for chicken, "Is this bullshit! This is highway robbery! Paying 10 dollars for a few pieces of fucking chicken!"
"Well sir, it's 2 in the morning, where else are you going to find hot food to eat? Mac's is right down the road if you don't like it."
Can't remember what he mumbled after that but then he said "Service is better in the city."
