Im a forward thinking, revolution minded 18 year old who wants change. I am intent on breaking down the plastic society that the corporate world has created to keep the working class complacent. We live every day a life we believe is normal and right; working, driving, shopping, eating, sleeping, but are being exploited by a system, making a few CEOs and major shareholders very very very rich. meanwhile, we toil in a plastic world, and most of the worlds population starves and dies, all for the capitalist gain of a select few. The corporate world has built a matrix that we live in. We must break these chains to ensure the intellectual freedom of our generation, as well as future generations. Capitalism must be broken if we the people desire true freedom in our lives. Until then, we will live as slaves to money, and as cheap labor to corporations that dominate the world.




uh...yeah...other than that, i just graduated high school...looking forward to the future, where i am able to do what i want... Im a retired hockey player, due to about 5 concussions. I am now a landscaper, saving money to head to university out east in september. I also plan to travel in the spring, heading down south (tennessee, georgia, kentucky, carolina), to new york and ontario, and possibly to europe or australia. I play the guitar and love all kinds of music. I love partying, or just chilling out with friends. Im soft spoken...dont have much to say usually...unless somehow conversation strikes one of my nerves...then i'll spew on about starbucks or mcdonalds or wal-mart or george bush forever.

WAL-MART

The presence of Wal-Mart in South Surrey/White Rock will have a drastic effect on the small business interests of those living in or near our area, and the "big box" development will cause a downward turn in the areas economic systems. The undercutting of our local businesses by Wal-Mart's behemoth buying power will bring on the extinction of the locally owned businesses that give the WR/SS area its charming character. As South Surrey develops with big box development, residents will see a gradual transition from being the owners and profiters of business interests to semi-impoverished minimum wage business employees. This unfortunate transition will turn the currently prosperous, safe, and warm White Rock/South Surrey area into another placeless suburb of concrete and crime. The ONLY solution to the impending Wal-Mart transformation of our area is a full boycott of Wal-Mart and its sweatshop products.







RUSS HEIBERT/STEPHEN HARPER

Russ Heibert and his Conservative party led by Stephen Harper are neo-facists who will plunge our country back to the 1950s, both socially and ideologically. Moving our progressive country further to the right side of the spectrum dooms the lower and middle classes to remain the heel of a capitalist system currently revolving around corporate interests. Unfortunately, no considerable option has presented itself to the left of canadas political battlefield, so while canada cant yet bring the power back to the normal class, it is important to prevent a shift FURTHER to the right in the upcoming federal election. While it is difficult to endorse a party with a background of corruption and lies, it appears the Liberal party are the lesser of two evils.
