My thoughts on the meaning of life.
Many people spend their whole lives, wondering what the meaning of life is, and one night, I was thinking the same, just thinking, over and over in my head, what is it? Why!?
Then it came to me. Balance.

Let me explain.

I think we all exist for one meaning, to create balance in the world. Evil would not exist without good. White, without black. Pleasure, without pain. Prey, without predators. Nothing would exist without its opposite, the ying without the yang. Would you know what happiness was if you had never felt sadness?
Probably not.

We exist, to create balance, if we were all good people, in a world of peace, I don’t think that would last for very long, it would be out of balance. I know this is starting to sound like some star wars “force” stuff, But honestly, take all the nerd out of it, and it starts to make sense.

Hitler in his mind, thought he was good, honestly good, that his world would have been good for mankind, and if everyone else didn’t think different, if we all agreed, that would have been out of whack, way out of whack, it just wouldn’t have worked. You have to give him credit to trying his hardest, which brings me to my next point.

I also think prejudice exists for a reason, to prove the people who are putting you down, wrong, to try your hardest, live your life, and achieve. And I think we have to spend out whole life... existing, balancing. When you’re sick, you vist a doctor, doctors exist to help the sick, if there were no doctors, humans would die off faster, I honestly don’t think there is a higher reason than balance. You may say, what about god? Or your god, creator, whatever you believe in, I don’t know what religion you are. I would say, maybe he or she was put there to help up answer questions we would otherwise never know the answer to.

Because to be too curious, to do everything in your power. To find the answers to these questions that have no answer, would drive mankind crazy. Or maybe you don’t want to question anything, and you just want to believe whatever you are told, that is okay to. I won’t judge, but as for me, I don’t believe in a higher power, I believe that humans have achieved all that we have, by trying to create balance. And there are people out there that are going to greatly disagree with what I am saying, once again, creating balance, because if everyone agreed with me, it wouldn’t work.

Now you may say, you’re just a kid, you don’t know anything, you’re dumb, we don’t have to listen to you, you’re right, you don’t have to, not everyone should, because it would throw off the balance. But hopefully some people do agree with me. I think I have a point.

A see-saw doesn’t work too well without a person on the other side, and if the sizes vary too much on opposing sides, it doesn’t work either, but if both people are the same size, working against each other, pushing up to get the other down, it works. Its fun. When an opposing child hops off while the other is in the air, the other side comes crashing down, because the balance no longer exists.

I think a similar thing would happen to the world. If we had nothing to fight for, or against, where would there be point in existing? If we all had what we wanted, all the time, without working for it, what would the be the point? If we honestly knew the meaning to life, what would be the point? Maybe I’m wrong. Actually, most likely I’m wrong. But I think I have given much insight into the matter, and this is the closest I will ever be.

Imagine it. If we knew the meaning of life, didn’t look for it, if everything was good in the world, if nothing was wrong... then we would still be looking for a meaning, because humans can never be done. Ever. We always want more, we would always think there was more, even if there wasn’t. On a constant quest for knowledge, never happy with what you have. We would just end up in chaos, questioning everything, back where we are.

So maybe I’m wrong? Write an essay/thing, prove me wrong, you’ll be creating some balance, maybe in proving me wrong, you’ll be proving me right. Or maybe we’ll be that much closer, to actually knowing, the meaning of life.

Thank you for reading.
