I've been in darkness for too long, waiting for the light,
Now that you have come my way, my heart is feeling right.
I really need you baby. I want you by my side.
Come ride the ocean waves with me, together with the tide.
I have never felt this way about any woman before,
You truly touch me deep inside, you've opened up my door.
You may think it's nothing serious, but surely it's a start,
I feel your love so equally in every chamber of my heart.
You may think this will never work, I appreciate the chance,
To see love shining in your eyes, may I have this dance?
I truly want to win your heart, but I guess it all depends,
Keep taking every step with me, we'll be the best of friends.
