Afrika la kwanza, (aka Africa the first)
Soo... I've now been in Africa for... about six weeks, and I'd have to say it's been the craziest experiance of my life! I haven't seen too much of the counrty side yet unfortunaly so there hasn't been too much of a culture shock. I've been stuck in boarding school since I got here. It's like a little piece of America... Or... the united Stat4es I should say. It's an American school, but it's not actually too different from schools in Canada, beside being Christ Driven, which is awesome! Everyone's been so nice in inviting me in, befriending me, and making me welcome. The teachers are great too. They're always there for help if it's needed. They love what they're teaching and that make all the difference sometimes.
Intresting things that have been going on in my life: (Read if you care, haha) Well, some of the best things that are happening or are abotu to happen would be, well at the moment mid-term! Finally a break from the hectic life of school, and away from my life being controlled by a bell... that sounds like a fire alarm! No joke, our school bell sounds the the stinking FIRE ALARM!! It's nuts! oh and sometime soon we're gonna have a lock down! ooo fun!.. well not really the kids say they're freaky! well... we shall soon see! Uhmm, oh ya, I'm in choir this year! Wish me luck! Haha, I might just need it. Hmm... Oh and there's this thing called "Multy Cultural Day" and.. get this... I get to carry the Swiss flag! Boo ya baby! It's not really that big of a deal or anything, but I am SUPER stocked! I think it'll be awesome. Next big thing! I get to see my parents in 3 DAYS!!! I'm soo happy, it's seriously been too long, haha... only 6 weeks but still way too long! Gah! I miss home so much!
You peeps have no clue how much I miss you all. Specials to call out: Jazzy and Hannah - Gals, I am like DYING without you! This is seriously so tough, I miss our girls nights and our crazy outings, wish you where here!! You ahve got to get you butts over here! You would love it so much (ps there's a lot of cute guys here. wink wink) Brian, man, you'd probably love it here! The guys dorms have EVERYTHING! Like video games to a pool table! Timmy - You would love it! Honestly i think you'd be in heaven! To those i didn't call I'm sorry, I miss you all, and if the favors not the same then that's alright!
