Granpa was a awesome person, he passed away February 18, 2007. i never got the chacne to say good bye, no one new he was going to die that soon. he was sick, he had several strokes and then while in hospital they realized he had lung cancer which spread to rest of his body.
i wish he was still here with us today, he was an awesome grandfather and an even bett father to his children.
family was the most important thing in his life, he always loved all of us and always did, i will never forget the times we shared, the laughs, and espeacially the day he passed away. i remember the day so clearly like it was yesturday. grandma had called matthews family house just as we got back from snowmobiling, she told matthew before she told me, when he handed the phone to me and sat down beside me i new something was wrong. it was the hardest things to hear, but it was bound to happen i guess. i miss him teribly and i will always love him. he meant everything to me. and we were close. i never wanted him to pass away, but i guess there is a reason for erything.
i will always love Grandpa and i will see him again someday.
